Education for the 4th Industrial Revolution!

Human existence would never diminish therefore humans would never be replaced by machines, however human power would be at risk as it would lose its value. Imagine a world where machines render services. If the word would evolve to the 4th Industry revolution the economy would decline and the world would be at risk as production and the development of the world would solely be dependent on a machine. This would cause major damages in the teaching and learning process, always remember a machine is trained to function a certain way therefore it would be very difficult for it to refer to the current living condition of humans. Having machinery teachers would mean education only focuses on teaching but not learning. Having a strained economy would mean less job productions, public facilities. There would be no job opportunities for teachers and no need for schools. Artificial Intelligence would need maintenance that needs to be funded by the government which would put more strain to the economy as it would be very expensive.

  1. I agree, the production of more machinery will lead to less jobs as most of the jobs will be done machines, people will have more time on their hands and they will end up reproducing and that will increase the population.

  2. I do agree that Machines being utikized over human power in skills related areas will always come wuth difficulties because of how high maintence it wikl be just to regulate technology so it can work efficciently and last fpr a lengthy period. This will also result in a great deal of unemployment as well as retrenchments which always has a negative effect on the economy as a whole.

  3. I agree with your views the challenges would also lead to the starving society because our people (breadwinners) would have no where to find jobs it would favour the young ones that still needs to be educated and persue different careers.

  4. Education in the 4th industrial revolution focuses on teaching learners on how to effectively make use of technology not only on their school activities but also in the real world. It allows learners and students to be creative and be aware of the changes that are happening in their surroundings.

  5. I am in full support of the fact that machines can never replace humans as they are programmed to only function a certain way whereas humans aren’t. For example human teachers will always be better at clarifying unexpected curiosities because they can apply their minds and robots / machines lack thereof.

  6. I agree machines cannot replace human jobs. Machines are programmed to perform a certain task and cannot do anymore then that unless told to do so. Machine maintenance is also very expensive, some parts have to be shipped and that’s more costs for the government.

Job opportunities are less therefore there will be more crime because it will seem like the only way to survive.

  7. I feel like there are high chances that robots and machines could replace humans because in some companies they would rather spend a huge amount of money and produce the machines rather than having to pay people every month and when it comes to school this will have an impact in people not seeing the use of going to school whereas they will be replaced by these machines in the later years.

  8. I don’t agree with you because technology is slowly replacing the traditional way of teaching and somehow it is a disadvantage to people who went to schools where there are no computers

  9. I agree with you that human can never repaced by computers, human intelligence is unique and so is human interaction with the learners. This revolution will just aid teaching and make it more interesting for learners yet enhancing education as whole.

  10. Using technology would be a great idea to the future of education. Robots would give resent information and make things easier for the learners. Having learners learn with technology would enhance their minds make them be able to solve resent problems with technology.

  11. Fourth industrial revolution has brought negative and positive sides. On negative side, you will hightlight that on other stores of Pick ‘n Pay there are self-service eletronic machines which that results on decreasing the number of employees. On the positive side, Business are growing rapidly through the use of technology, in social media platforms for advertisement.

  12. Your take on the subject matter is noted with key, but then again let’s try to be open about the creation of the Autobots, now that they are here am likely to pose a question am very much interested in knowing, but take it as a food for thought.
Seeing that ‘Humans value may be risk’, do you perhaps insinuate we go back where tertiary level used to accept applications via hand, where Curriculum vitae were handed in by hand. Where third applications like *Word, Excel, Data Acess were taught not at schools. Must we still be persistent on that model of no change.

  13. Well said my lady👌. If they will replace educators by machines they will be certainly preparing for failure because learners do not learn on the same pace. I like that point where you said that machines are trained to do the teaching and they do not consider anyone’s needs and so learning doesn’t occur if that’s how things will operate. That is why the human touch in education will always be needed for those individuals that have learning barriers.

  14. The fourth industrial revolution would cause unemployment, poverty and crime. Even though it is a good idea but there would be more negative effects in the education system as it would be more teacher based as robots are programmed to work a certain way.

  15. It is really a bad idea and disadvantage to our human race. Although some things are sorted out and improved via technology there are certain tasks that could never be accomplished without the skills that we as the human race acquire.
Unemployment will be very high because as much as some of us do not see it now but the little jobs that can be replaced by Robots does actually make a difference and matter to somebody else because of their financial situation. This should be well considered and thought through and for once can we please consider the poor as to how Will they afford services provided by machinery.
The 4th revolution is a reflection of the quote that states “the rich become richer and the poor become poorer”

  16. People can never be replaced by robots because it is people that create robot. Robots will never exist if people were not alive. People can also be able to do multi task but robot only do what they are programmed to do

  17. All this sounds pretty scary if you are currently doing a job a robot or computer software can do. Indeed, some recent research has highlighted which jobs are most vulnerable. But robots are just machines, and machines have been displacing workers for hundreds of years. What robots also do, like many other machines, is extend the capabilities of workers to do more things safely and efficiently.

  20. I also agree that there will be a great loss number of jobs if we will be having robots to do everything for us then again knowing the fact that ICT isn’t really implemented in schools to develop the minds of the younger ones we can experience a big trouble, therefore people with students need to be prepared for the incoming industrial revolution.

  21. Well technology is the future but most things still need to be done by human effort. Teaching is one of the things that can’t be replaced by any kind of technology. Definitely agree with your points.
